Scout Week Taize – report 2019 and dates for 2020

Scout Week 2019 began on Sunday the 21st July with the arrival of 28 participants, from 11 different associations. Unfortunately, 11 participants from Aleppo Syria who applied to attend, found difficulties obtaining visas to permit them enter the Schengen area and sadly they had to withdraw
their application.

To avoid confusion and to allow people and associations time to plan for the coming year, it was agreed some three years ago that the date of the annual Scout Week in Taizé should be fixed to the last full week in July, therefore, Scout Week in Taizé 2020 will be held from: Sunday the 19th to Saturday the 25th of July 2020.
